INTERNATIONAL MINIART
EXCHANGE
Visual Art is a form of communication
that transcends language. Just as the smallest word can have as much potency
as the longest speech, so too a small work of good art can have a major
impact on the viewer.
International Miniart Exchange gives
many artists a chance to make a single comment to an international audience.
ORIGINS OF THE MINIART
PROJECT
The International Miniart Exchange
was originated by Brazilian artist Clara Pechansky with the aim of showing,
in a small format, the panorama of fine art work created around the world.
The exhibit format allows each artist a surface of just 20x20 centimeters:
this uniform size provides an equal ground on which the artists can express
their ideas. It also provides a single aspect that connects the diversity
of cultural influences, and the individual creativity of participants.
AIMS OF THE ART EXCHANGE
The International Miniart Exchange Group
is an online international forum gathering artists from many different
countries, who use the Internet to discuss Art and art related subjects.
Through the International Miniart Exchange exhibits, artists have
the opportunity to show their artwork for a very wide audience, to connect
and create dialogues with a growing group, as well as to be active and
gaining experience in coordinating international exhibits. All exhibitions
are coordinated by independent artists in their own countries.
