THE MINIART PROJECT

The 1st International Miniart Exchange took place in August 2003 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The aim was to gather in the same space a group of works of different origins, so as to generate a wide view of the artistic creation in various regions of the world. The aim of the Miniart Project is to show small works to large audiences in public spaces. After its first edition, Miniart has traveled to four continents, always under the coordination of independent artists, creating a web of exhibitions whose trend is to grow in number and quality.
