Clara Pechansky,

Desenhista, pintora e gravadora — Pelotas, RS, 1936

Bacharel em Pintura pela Escola de Belas Artes de Pelotas, com Medalha de Ouro. Cursou Licenciatura em Desenho e História da Arte na UFRGS, com cursos de Extensão em Educação Audiovisual. Estudou com Aldo Locatelli, Glenio Bianchetti, Glauco Rodrigues, Xico Stockinger, Danúbio Gonçalves e Anico Herskovits. Mais de 70 exposições individuais em galerias e museus do Brasil e do exterior. Selecionada e convidada para mais de 200 exposições coletivas, Bienais e Trienais de Desenho e Arte Gráfica em 17 países, recebeu 3 prêmios internacionais, além de homenagens em vários países, devido ao seu trabalho de divulgação da arte brasileira. Sua trajetória inclui individuais na Alemanha, Bélgica, Colômbia, Espanha, Estados Unidos, Holanda, México e Portugal.

Produção Cultural

Além da atividade como artista visual e ilustradora, Clara Pechansky atua como gestora cultural e social, escrevendo sobre arte, palestrando e criando eventos como o Projeto Ensaio, para o Theatro São Pedro e o Lar da Criança Anne Frank (1998), e Artistas da Vida anos 1 e 2 (1999 e 2000), com Liana Timm. Em 2003 fundou o Projeto Miniarte International, que vem mostrando suas coleções nos cinco continentes, e em 2018 criou o Projeto Fiesta de Paz Brasil.

As obras de Clara Pechansky estão no acervo das principais galerias de Porto Alegre.

Draftwoman, painter, printmaker – Pelotas, RS, Brazil, 1936

Bachelor in Painting with Gold Medal –  School of Fine Arts, Pelotas. History of Art and Drawing Teaching Degree – School of Education, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Art studies with Locatelli, Bianchetti, Glauco, Stockinger, Danubio and Herskovits. More than 70 personal exhibits in galleries and museums in Brazil and abroad. Selected and invited to more than 200 group exhibitions, biennials and triennials of Graphic Art and Drawing in 17 countries. Her professional carreer includes solo exhibitions in Germany, Belgium, Colombia, Netherlands, Spain, United States, Mexico and Portugal. Clara has received achievement awards for her work, spreading Brazilian Art internationally.

Cultural Production

Besides her activities as illustrator and visual artist, Clara Pechansky acts as a cultural producer – writing, teaching and speeching on Art and related matters. She has created events like The Rehearsal Project connecting the São Pedro Theater with Anne Frank’s Childrencare Home (1998), and Artists of Life (1999 and 2000) with Liana Timm. In 2003 she founded the International Miniart Project. Since then, the Miniart has being showing its collections in five continents. In 2018  she created the Fiesta de Paz Brasil Project.
